How do i keep an alo plant alive?

I just got an alo plant from lowes and i really like it so i want it to live. I think it is healthy. I was wondering how much i needed to water it and how much sun it needed to get to be healthy. It is cournently in my room how big should it get??? THank you so so much!!!
