Which guy is better in these YA books?

I haven't read 1-3 yet and I didn't like Evermore. I'm torn between Gale & Peeta - but leaning toward Peeta. Stefan in the books, Damon in the show. Jacob from Twilight (sweeter than Edward!), Heath from House of Night. I haven't read the others but the Immortal series has me interested.
