You have to realize that your mom and dad's little girl-- they want what's best for you, and no one will ever be good enough for you. If you think this guy is really great, have him spend more time at your house so your parents can continue to get to know him better. If they don't like him, there's nothing you can do but accept it for what it is. And if they don't like him as a PERSON (not because of disabilities or anything superficial) then I would say "Mother knows best." Parents can see things that you can't-- you're involved, they have much more life experience, and they're looking out for what's best for you.
