What is the quintessential message of Srirama in valmiki ramayana?

I would begin the volley of ideas with this that absolute obeyance to father,s order ie pithruvakya paripalana is the Lords foremost principle and preaching. In myriad places in the valmiki ramayana he talks about the indispensability of undertaking father's order. He says that he would fall into fire, take in poison, submerge in water if that were the father's order more poignantly he says that even if it were uttered by him when under the influence of kama ie lust in ayodya kanda.When bharata puts forth many arguments to call him back he bluntly says that no dharma virtue is greater than pithru vakya paripalana which ordains him 14 year exile which he will fulfill
