Why America is interested in solving problems in Arab countries only?

I think America is interested in solving problems in several regions. America contributes a lot to fighting the drug trade, rebel groups, and dictators in South America. We contribute a lot of money, food, supplies, and military/diplomatic support to Africa. We contributed a huge chunk of aid money for the tsunami in Indonesia. We're constantly working on easing tension between Pakistan and India. Just because our military is focussed on the middle-east right now, doesn't mean we aren't working in other places diplomatically.
